Our Story

American Renewal 1870 (AR1870) exists to defend the constitutional and statutory rights of Descendants of U.S. Chattel Slavery through education, advocacy, and watchdog enforcement. From shaping Washington State’s historic lineage-based reparations study, monitoring the Birthright citizenship executive order to producing media and community consensus, we guard the promise of reparative justice.
